Hedge Fund Business Consultant:

A unique opportunity for motivated, challenge-seeking university graduates capable of unconventional thinking.

Ideal candidates will have straight-forward resume histories, relevant bachelor’s degrees from good schools, top grades, and a high GMAT score. Their emphasis will have been on finance, accounting, and information technology.

This position is appropriate for professionals (possibly CPAs) with 2-6 years experience in operations or accounting. They will have mastered prior roles at buy-side or sell-side firms in the investment management industry.

Successful candidates will be required to synthesize their knowledge and experience in securities operations, accounting, and/or computer technology – and will assist in performing software implementations and data conversions at top-tier Hedge Funds. Subsequently, they will perform ongoing operational duties.

Your skill set: Excellent Excel, plus exposure to trade-tracking software applications like Advent Geneva and RSL, IBSI, VPM, or Eagle. Capability in VBA/macros is a plus, as is exposure to database software such as SQL and applications software like Risk and/or Order Management.

Compensation for ideal candidates will be more than competitive. To be sure, hours will be long, but will be commensurately rewarded. Count on considerable flexibility.
